IC:"Don't judge me I was prepared for a cruise ship not a desert hid out." Nyx said frowning in the darkness. "If i had know that this would have happened I would have brought a flash light or something." Nyx bumped into the wall at the end of the room, "Jeez how small is this place." As Nyx mutter these words the door in front of him opened and he fell through it. The hall outside was illuminated thankfully, but who was in the base making sure it was lite?

| frowning as she rubbed her nose, kale brought herself to her feet and followed nyx out into the new hall, helping him up and taking in her surroundings. just a straight hall, another door on the other end... nothing special. kale couldn't find exactly where the light was coming from though, she didn't see anything, it was almost as if it was coming from everywhere at once

| "Well best to keep moving forward at this point." Nyx said coolly, he didn't like the smell of the building, it stank of chemicals and was to clean to be abandoned. Unless this place has a self cleaning system people are here and where there are people there are enemies and eneimes means info on kale's brother. Nyx opened the door and walked through the room lead to another corridor this one containing three more doors, one at both ends and a third down a third. "I bet my remaining ammo that this is research facility, just like an Elaikyn always finding something to produce whether war or weapons its bad news." Nyx walked through the middle door and entered a small observation room.

| kale stepped into the room after Nyx and turned right. there were all kinds of strange things floating in jars that she didn't recognize. kale's eyes swept the walls, the room was round and there was something strange... there were no visible doors. a blank space on the wall had a small green light blinking above it, and something faintly enscribed. as she was trying to read what was wriiten, kale placed her hand on the wall and it moved. fast. the wall sli into itself, creating an opening that led into a darker passageway. kale wrinkled her nose at the smell that hit her. she had one hand on her gun and the other covering her mouth. it smelled like death.

| Nyx turned to the Kale as the scent wafted across the room, "I don't like this." Nyx place his hand on Kale's shoulder and drew his Leviathan, "Stay close." Nyx began down the hall, his finger tense on his finger, never before had he smelt such a pungent odor.

| again, following close behind, kale held her nose with one hand as she walked down the hall. peeking aroung nyx, she noticed a shadow laying in the middle of the hallway. then she realized what it was: a human body, crawling with maggots. she spun around and braced herself against the wall, barely managing not to puke. (puke) <---- if this was skype...... ew pukeface lol

Nyx turned to Kale and grimaced, he didn't know what to do. Using the edge of his foot he pushed the body aside and grabbed kale ledding her past the corpse. As they dove further into the tunnels of the mysterious passage the scent only became worst. "What happened here..." Bodies began to come at regular intervals, Nyx trying his best to keep them out of kale's sight to the point where he ended up simple placing his hand over her eyes. Eventually they came to a large room in the center there was a operating table, however it was stained red.

| kale's hands gently held Nyx's over her eyes. she hoped he wouldn't notice the few tears that managed to slip out of the corners of her eyes every now and then. she was strong, she shouldn't be scared, but... her mind kept flashing back to all the burnt bodies scattering her hometown and she shuddered. finally, kale pushed nyx's hand away, and she looked around, biting her lip so hard it was probably bleeding, but she walked over to a few surveillance cameras. if they could find the surveillance rooms.... 'it was the Armedians...." she muttered, wiping her nose. "it's always the armedians..."

| Nyx didn't quite understand what kale was talking about, but he knew enough to know it was causing her great pain. He walked up behind her and wrapped her in his arms. "War claims many lives kale be strong. We all must die, some before others." Nyx relinquished his hold and touched the blood-soaked table. "I wonder who died to make this..." Peering around the room Nyx noticed it was circular and had a thin glass ceiling. "Observation..." He shot his gun into the glass causing it to break. Behind it sat a room of chairs, a camera was positioned to record the events of the room.

| kale walked over to a computer and pushed the dead body out of the chair. sitting down, she made a face as she wiped the dead man's blood off the screen. a few clicks later, a video started playing, dated about a week ago. kale stared at the screen fixedly.
